Special Teacher Shopping Event

Dear Teachers and School Staff,

We're so excited to invite you to a Special Teacher Shopping Event at rePlay Arts! Come and get supplies for the new school year on Monday, August 24, from 4:00–6:00 pm at our Creative Reuse Art Center, 87 Maple Street, White River Junction, VT.

A little about us, for anyone who hasn't visited yet: rePlay Arts is a nonprofit creative reuse art shop and community education organization. We collect donated art, craft, and classroom materials that would otherwise go to waste and make them available at low cost to the community. We support local schools and educators by keeping affordable supplies flowing into classrooms, offering hands-on community programming, and helping keep usable materials out of the waste stream — good for budgets and good for the planet.

Here's what to expect at the event:

• A guided tour of rePlay Arts
• A behind-the-scenes look at rePlay's bulk inventory and overstock – perfect for classroom projects!
• Tips on finding low-cost materials for your classroom, as well as pointers to other reuse organizations and resources around the Upper Valley
• Time to shop afterward — whether you're stocking up for your classroom or grabbing something just for yourself!

We'll be sharing a few brief remarks at 4:30 pm, so plan to arrive a little before then if you can.

rePlay Arts is located in the back of the building, facing the parking lot. Additional parking can be found across the street at Town Hall, or in the parking lot of the White River Co-op.

Please RSVP and feel free to forward this invitation to any colleagues who might be interested — the more teachers who can join us, the better!

We can't wait to see you there!

Creatively yours,
Jamie Rosenfeld and Melanie Adsit
